Two men were seriously injured in two separate incidents during a parade celebrating Leeds United's promotion to the Premier League, police have said.
A 34-year-old man received serious head injuries when he was assaulted outside Browns, on The Headrow, between 14:08 BST and 14:19 BST on Monday, according to West Yorkshire Police.
He remained in hospital but his injuries were not considered to be life-threatening, a force spokesperson said.
Meanwhile, a 23-year-old man who was seriously hurt when he fell out of a tree outside the Cuthbert Brodrick pub in Millennium Square at about 16:00 BST remained in a serious but stable condition in hospital, they added.
A force spokesperson said detectives were continuing to carry out inquiries into both incidents.
